Total rookie when it comes to the process and my apologies if this belongs in "Action!" perhaps but...

I want to smash-up some stills along with actual footage from engagement/bridal/wedding ceremony and was wondering about some of the footage being in slo-mo. Is it the software program that allows this...is it done in-camera?? Probably a ridiculous question, I know, but never dealt with it before and I guess the most ridiculous question would be the one that never gets asked. :dunno. Thanks for any help and info you guys can pass along! :thumb

Hey man - it's been a long time. Regarding your question. It's the software program that allows the slo-mo. Give me a call swing by our studios and Evelyn and I will show you our process. We use to do this all of the time. Then videographers finally stepped up there game. At least in our region - and now they do it. It's nice when you have time to do it though.

Just about any NLE (non linear editor) can do this. The ability and results will vary depending on the frame rate of your camera and amount that you slow it down to. As an after market solutions, I've heard great things about Twixtor, but I never needed it.
