Could not make it to Yosemite

But the Merced River Canyon was alive. The recent rain and snow that kept us from the park, turned the whole canyon into cascades of water from runoff.
We did not go into the park because of rockslides, downed trees and the notice that they were going to close the roads. Stopped and took some shots of one of the more spectacular and safe place to stop.

The cascade that I took a shot of was one of hundreds coming down the walls of the canyon. You did not need to get in yosemite valley to enjoy the falls some which easily 2000 ft drops down the canyon walls. It was amazing and intimidating and so beautiful.
