I wish I was half the man that my dog thinks I am...
Pam, on how I got these, a bit of luck. I found a spot on a local river with such great fishing the cormorants couldn't resist, and enough cover that I didn't seem to bother them. Once in a while, you luck out! These were taken last November, except for Groucho (breeding plumage), which was taken this month. I'm using a Nikon 200-400mm f/4. I would really love to have a blind, given my first experiences with the duck season over here. Boy, are they tough! Maybe next year... Many thanks again for your lovely comments!
Cheers, pear

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
