Pear, how did you get these? Were you in a blind? What kind of lens? Were they taken over time? Truly, they are just wonderful! Best, Pam

Pam, Jack and Dan, Wow! Thanks so much for the very kind reviews! I just been at this under a year, so I really appreciate your encouragement!

Pam, on how I got these, a bit of luck. I found a spot on a local river with such great fishing the cormorants couldn't resist, and enough cover that I didn't seem to bother them. Once in a while, you luck out! :) These were taken last November, except for Groucho (breeding plumage), which was taken this month. I'm using a Nikon 200-400mm f/4. I would really love to have a blind, given my first experiences with the duck season over here. Boy, are they tough! Maybe next year... Many thanks again for your lovely comments!

    Cheers, pear :)

Very nice captures pear! That last action shot, "No Sharing" has such great detail. It really "captures" the moment. Nice job.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
