html uploader

I have been caused to waste time and bandwidth again on this uploader. It has never worked without error! I go back to the basic uploader as the only choice, after giving the drag and drop html uploader several opportunities to perform over the last 12mo. Tonight, as usual, the upload using it failed - "please check your internet connection". Nonsense!
