*** Wood Working ***

Hello folks, It's been a while. Busy working, entertaining company and playing flu victim. Did manage to get out in the boat yesterday morning. Visited a wood stork colony. Wanted to share a few pics with you from this visit and a previous trip a couple weeks back.. There was some difficult lighting taking place with all the clouds. One second glorious light..the next total overcast darkness. ***resists urge to say bad things out loud to Mother Nature***. :scratch:thumb

Thanks for looking.

Well, Mike, I was beginning to wonder what happened to you! Let me just say, despite the flu, you have not lost your touch! These are great. I like them all, but especially the first, for the symmetrically fanned out wings, and the last, for the multitasking of the bird. Stay well. Best, Pam

I guess you're gonna want me to change your name to the "Woodstork Whisperer" now.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Super images, Mike. I love the wood storks. Less frame and more stork would improve these though. :D

Hi, Mike! This is is the first time I've seen your work and I think these images are truly nice. I'm not a photographer or anything, so I can't go over with the technicalities. All I can say is that you captured the wood stork in action pretty well. I especially like the first photo. Anyway, I hope you're doing alright now. Keep on posting!
