I am near the Rhine river, were there are a lot of swans and and because I almost never been able to take photos of swans in Canada,
I'm really enjoying doing this here, in Germany.
That's why I wanted so much the next theme to be something related to swans, and thanks Sean, it is
Needless to say that the first thing I did this morning, was to go down the river and get some swans shots rushing
out of water. (there are 5 hours difference between here and the EST)
Here there are some of them:

Please tell me if they are any good.

Canon 7D and not enough L glass....
How about Walking on Water as a title?
Hah yea I guess I'm the only nerdy ass engineer that's posted in this thread so far. Believe me, I do like #1, but just as far as the theme goes I thought #2 hit it square on the head where as #1 was a little behind the head due to the excess wind resistance.
I was very excited to show them, but I will probably take even more shots since I have 2 weeks to play with this...
- So I guess there is no rush to make a decision right now

Great action shots
One more thing if you could get a lower angle closer to the water could give it more. Though not always possible due to location which makes it tough sometimes.

I am jealous all the swans around here have migrated north again.

Thank you Chris for the suggestion - yes, I've been thinking about this too, but first I was amazed
of what I could get... because it's not every day (at least for me) to be able to catch such beauties,
and therefore I was afraid to miss the shot if I don't use a very high speed
I did try them at a slower speed today though, and also I went down closer to the surface of the water
(I wish it was a little warmer and the grass less wet...), but I got some which I'll post a little later
in a new thread.
Thank you so much again - BTW: your image is fabulous!!!
