Hi all,
I was going to enter this in the previous challenge "under or above" but got sidetracked and missed the deadline. Still I like it enough to want to post it.

It's not my usual type of shot as I rarely try to go for the abstract, don't have the eye for that, but was happy with this result.

c&c always welcome.

Lovely, Liz, but could be helped by either going B&W or loosing the green cast showing in the reflections and elsewhere. Not enough color contrast.

I find this one more appealing as a B+W rendering. The color didn't add anything to the image....taking it away was a big improvement. Kind of unusual for me to see it that way, being the color freak that I am.

BTW, Liz, I do like the shot.

Thank you Tom! I'm kicking myself for not entering the shot.

It's funny I liked the color version and now that I see these next to each other I want to say to myself "what were you thinking?!".

    Thanks again Tom.

Very nice, Liz - and I agree, I much prefer the B&W version, the color really didn't add anything to the original.

It's almost strange to see a color photo from you :D ! In this case your BW conversion is much nicer than the color.

Thanks moose:) I have to experiment sometimes, but often they don't work.

Hee hee I know I know. I do have a heavy hand with processing, always have, even with black and white, but sometimes I crave the color. Usually I get this reaction :)

HOLY COW! I'm over 3,000 posts! I gotta get a life:)
