Unable to get watermarked photos at various sizes anymore

I'm not sure what's going on... something's changed, I guess, but I wasn't aware of any announcements of changes like this, and I can't quite figure out why I'm unable to do what I used to be able to do. I could always click on any photo, and then at the top was the option to view it in a lot of different sizes: XL, X2, X3, etc. Then I could "save as" to a folder on my computer, and this was a handy way to download watermarked, downsized copies for other uses. Now I see no size choices when I click on a photo. It's watermarked, but I can't right click as I have RCP on (and RCP should know I'm the owner, but it doesn't). So my only option is "Owner Save" at the top, and I tried that but can only get full-sized watermarked copies that way.

Yes, I can choose various sizes in the info-hover that appears at the right side of an image (initially, in its preview in Smug View). But even if I've chosen XL, for instance, I can still only
download an original watermarked image through "Owner Save", even when that XL image comes up. So... where did all this go, and is it coming back?? I sure hope so! That changes a lot of stuff for me. The only other option I know is "Get a Link" and that's of course an additional step of opening a whole new page in another browser.

It's the same in all the galleries I checked. But here are two that I was trying to get images from. There's other stuff that seems different too about the look of the page when we click on a preview photo in SmugMug View. Are you saying you have no knowledge of anything changing on that page? For instance, I'm pretty sure the image used to be centered on that page. Now it's off to the left, and there's some type of comment-box that comes up to the right. And there are no size options at the top the way there used to be. I don't recall size options being instead on the info-hover of a preview photo the way they are now, but maybe I'm wrong about that. Anyway, I can't find any galleries that look the way they used to.

Visitors can't save, as you have right click protection on. Owners can use the folder icon on the photobar or, when in lightbox, click "Save Photo". This saves your original image, no watermark.

I'm logged in, and I want the watermarked, smaller versions. That's my problem-- I used to be able to see all the different sizes as options once I'd clicked on the large preview photo. It would take me to another page. I could choose which size I wanted and save the watermarked, smaller size image. Yes, you're correct, owner save (full-sized) is no problem. But I don't need that.... I need watermarked small ones sometimes when I don't have them on my home computer. I used to do this frequently w/ no problem. NO, Andy, I'm not seeing that at all!! Wow, how are you doing that??? You're magical! You got it back! I see this: Owner Save ; 3 of 25 ; Cart (icon) ; Collect Photo ; Hide Details. Shoot, I just gotta learn & remember how to do screen-shots. Sorry I'm so illiterate sometimes. This is super-weird though. I'm telling you, the whole view looks different from the usual view. I just updated FF today to the latest... do you think it could be a FF issue? [ETA: I just looked at other people's galleries; yours and some others. Everything looked fine in everyone else's. I see all the sizes & the view just the way I used to....]

Oh good grief. Yes, that was it! Doesn't it seem odd that when I went to other people's galleries I got the normal view I was used to though? (I edited my previous post while you were quoting it, so you may not have seen that). Or is that maybe a caching thing.... Oh well, now hopefully I will remember how to fix this myself next time. Sorry for the bother, and thanks!

Hope it's ok to bump this with the same problem... I don't see the Save Photo option, I see Owner Save, and it always downloads the original version of the file. I want to be able to download one of the watermarked versions as well. Hiding and then showing details does not give me the Save Photo option...

Hi, if you have right-click protection on, you can't save the display copies - as visitor or owner, I'm sorry. You can put external links on, 'get a link' and put that link in your browser, to get a watermarked copy that way if you like.
