I have an extra room 10ft X 16ft that i can use for a studio, and i want extra space on the sides where i can put my strobes, so I am thinking of cutting my seamless paper so that it's only 8ft wide. what would be the best way to cut it? are there any stores that sells 8ft wide seamless paper?
my alternative is to use a vinyl backdrop instead which offers 8ft wide backdrops. more expensive tho. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/562129-REG/Savage_V01_0820_Infinity_Vinyl_Background_8.html
someone suggested to use a chop saw and just make sure the paper was rolled as tight as possible.
any help is appreciated.
Thanks

As long as the paper is rolled good and tight, just about any saw will do a good job.

Fine tooth finish blade is needed for control a radial arm might be better than a chop saw....again with a very fine finish blade ..........or why not hang the lights from the ceiling or off the walls.....1 foot is only 6 inches on each side.....is that really enuff to go to all this work for??
