Nearing the end of a long day in the mountains. Scott (left), Jon (right), and I (center) went into North Percy to have a go at skiing the South West Face. We walked in along Corridor 5 parallel To Nash stream NE of Groveton, NH. We found the rock face thinly veiled with crusty snow and weaved our way (walked) down through the scrub spruce via the Old Underhill route.
This was a special or important trip for us. The end goal was not important. This was the first time we got Scotty out in our beloved hills after his wife un-expectantly died two Sundays ago (3/13/11) from a undetected heart ailment. They were very much in love, in a very real way (a rarity these days). Dawn we felt your spirit!

I'm glad you documented this special trip.
I really do like the sort of rough look the three of you have and I think you are all more than a little crazy.
