Hmm....I followed the instructions on the second link and created my watermark. Pretty simple watermark, 30pt font, grey-ish color, 50% opacity.

I uploaded to a private gallery as instructed and then went to the watermarking tools. However, it comes up blank when I use tool?

The sample image in the watermarking tool doesn't show it and the gallery preview for the image is also blank.

    What did I miss?

In order to create a watermark with a clear background, the image cerated has to be saved as a transparent PNG file, then made into a watermark using the watermark tool on your site. Lightroom does not have the ability to create transparent PNG files. We have a tutorial located at the following link that shows how to create a watermark step by step. http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1690196

If you continue to experience trouble, please email us over at the Smugmug help desk and provide us a link to the watermark image on your site. http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal

We'll be happy to take a look for you. Have a great day!

Sorry Andy, I got it. I'm still a bit confused though. That tutorial is for photoshop right? I spent hours on ps yesterday but each time I apply the watermark, the box is also present. Apparently, I'm missing something in regards to making the box transparent. G0nna try again. Thanks for your help.
