API: orders, pricing

How can I programmatically access orders? Even more importantly, how can I view prices for an image, or set the prices for an image?

These appear to have been considered in 1.2.1 but never implemented. And sadly, they have disappeared from the 1.2.2 and 1.3.0 docs :(.

    G'day David,

It was actually implemented back in 1.2.1, but unfortunately when we brought Bay online as a print partner, the way to integration was done broke the API support and the model they used made it difficult to rewrite.

We are moving to a new model for pricing where you will apply a pricelist to an album rather than setting individual pricing per image. I haven't dug into the details yet, but this is what I intend to implement on the next version of the API. Obviously, support for products and pricing needs to come both orders...but the plan is to support both.

I don't have any timeframes for when this will be available, but it is quite a high priority for us.

    Cheers,

    David

Price lists sound great (I'm guessing this mean I could create a template of prices for all products, then apply it in aggregate to photos). Will I be able to apply a pricelist to individual photos too? Even better, I'd love if I could set prices using keywords!

Sure thing. Worst case, I can get order information through the control panel's link to the CSV file.

Cool, I'm definitely looking forward to it. I think Don should hire someone to help you with all this!
