Another of that tiny spiderling

Just another shot from my "miniature forest" shoot that I did on the moss.

Here's another view of the spiderling that was investigating what was going on . Looks like he decided to climb up one of the shoots of moss to get a closer look

Quite an odd image this one due to the level of background texture due to the F11 aperture used. Almost like a painting in one respect. Still, the main pod and spider jump out of the image

Lovely shot Ian - rather like the background as well. The moss shoots are sporangiophores (the spore forming/holding vessels) - worth keeping an eye on them- the tip opens out a bit like a pepper pot when the spores are ripe.

verey nice, could the spider have just shed skin being that colour?

Thanks Phil. Not quite sure. It was really tiny so quite possible the light has passed right through
