Is there a way to have custom <title> tags on each of my Galleries? :dunno

I didn't think so. It has as to be read by search engines. Thanks John.
Smugmug - IMO, that would be a great addition. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/bowdown.gif" border="0" alt="" >

In my categories, the category name is already in the <title> tag.

Maybe I'm missing something, it happens a lot lately!
My Landscape Category: http://mike.imagesinthebackcountry.com/Landscapes/yosemite-landscape/15036862_brFqf#1123156227_8ib9V
The <title> tag says "Central Valley CA - Landscape, Nature, Wildlife & Inspirational Pictures : Landscapes". I don't want to list Nature, Wildlife & Inspirational. I would like to include Yosemite, Merced and SeKi....or something like that.
Same thing for my galleries. I want to tailor it to that gallery. Does that make sense?
It looks like you (Smugmug) can't do that at this time. :cry

It would be a nice feature. Having a custom <title> tag on the home page is nice, but the keywords I use on my home page are not necessarily relevant to all of my categories/galleries.
It is for me too. I was hoping to have a different <title> tag for each gallery.

But you do- it's controlled by the NiceName of the Gallery.

Not really. The NiceNames a great for urls, but not for title tags. To change the title tags, I have to change the actual gallery title. That would be okay if Smugmug didn't tack on my home page title too.
I'm sure I'm in the minority about this, so that's okay.

Nobody is going to search for your name or your business name. They won't know you.

Actually, people do search for it because they already know the name and use Google to find it. But the name is there just... because it's the website name. The rest "nature photography blah blah blah" should go in the site description. This is standard for most websites. Every photo at Smugmug has it's own "page" and title (extracted from the caption) and there's more chance that people will find things deep within your site than a gallery on its own. And for something as popular as Yosemite, I would keep the captions short, varied and descriptive.
