    Wow!
Excellent capture Andy - I know that the timing has to be just perfect to catch those lights streaming through Grand Central. Is that the Lamborghini that showed up in one of your earlier posts with a tutorial for blending two exposures? Lovely shot.

    Cheers,
    Kevin K.

What's the name for the little star of light behind the man's head (lower center-left)? Is it called flair? This is a great shot, but for me, that little "lens flair" (or whatever it's called) makes the shot. Just that extra bit of drama. Also something that people (at least not me) don't see but that cameras do.
    If not now, when?

Yea, there is even another one of these, the KPotD one called "Streaming Light". You can see that on Andy's site here: http://williams.smugmug.com/gallery/106204/1/4472736/Large

This is really a great subject and I've never seen the light in GCS caught this way. I love the motion blur in "Streaming Light". Love the "lens flair" in the most recent shot.

that's not actually lens flare - it's a difraction of a highly specular highlight - perhaps the sunlight caught someone's bling, at just the right time... very very lucky :D
