The air is a little cooler in the morning, less light during the day.

The Start of Fall.

Yes fall. The beginning of a cold spell that lasts for 7 months in Minnesota.

Thanks for looking. There will be many more to come.:D

I really like that single floating leaf image - very nice.

It's been so dry here in Atlanta that my backyard looks like November already.

They are both very pretty. I am particularly fond of the first one, though. Nice composition to it.

yes, the 7 month (well, maybe 8 here) cold spell has started. Very grey day here today. A whopping 7C right now!

    Nice shots, both.

I have to say that I really miss the fall. I grew up in upstate NY, and have been out here in SoCal for 19 years (OMG). It's an amazing time of year, a time for reflection.

    Oh, and by the way:

Hi there Dave........... I just got back from America on the weekend, and I was hoping that I would see the change as Fall began while I was there, but alas it was barely noticable umph.gif

The types of trees you have over there sure make for a very beautiful Fall, and I have seen many photos of those brilliant orange/reds/yellows etc in the past.....boy I was wishing that I would see it during my stay.

I'm sure we will see some more really nice shots from you as Fall really kicks in, I've come home to rain, rain, and more rain ! quite a change from 7 weeks of Summer...........but I get to have two summers hehehe clap.gif cause ours doesn't start for another couple of months yet :D

Looking forward to seeing more Fall Images from you.... Skippy (Australia)

Thanks guys. In 2 to 3 weeks, the fall colors should be out in full force
around here. Until then, here are some from a year ago.

Feel free to add some of your own.

    Hi Dave,
Both shots are nice, but I especially like the lone leaf one. The water pattens and color contrast nicely with the leaf.

    Thanks for sharing,
