3. This American Coot was looking for a dead palm tree to roost on.

6. Got into trouble shooting this GBH from the wrong side. (Better Beamer and then some)

Its always a pleasure to shoot with you Glenn. Great set of images, you made good use of that early morning light we had.

Glad to see that #6 turned out so well. There was this Canadian shooter at the wetlands that morning who was shooting next to me. When he saw Glenn shooting against the light to get #6 he asked me "Does that guy know what's he doing"? rolleyes1.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Beautiful photos, Glenn! I love the portrait of the Sandhill Crane. And I'm going to have to pay more attention to our purple gallinules--yours is so colorful! Looks like you and Harry had a lot of fun. Best, Pam

You sure have that that artistic eye Glenn! Number one is outstanding. Love the saturation of color in the others! Amazing work! bowdown.gif

Thanks Pam! The Galinules have really bright colors right now. This one was about as out in the open as I've ever seen them.
