One of the many metal gratings that protects the location of every city tree in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Thank you very much for viewing. smile.png

Nicely seen and well composed. We have similar grates here in Madrid, but they're always full of cigarette butts lol3.gif.

Thanks, Richard. Really? You could probably make an image out of that juxtaposition by showing Urban decay. Laughing.gif! Just kidding.

Your technical expertise has become a given....always in evidence. It's your choice of subject material that keeps me on the run. I never know what you're going to throw our way. I like how you've taken a fairly mundane scene and turned it into an interesting display of patterns and composition. Good stuff.thumb.gif

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

What can I say... from my inner being, "Thank you very much, Tom."

Irving Penn did a number of famous shots with just cigarette butts. Here's one: http://www.artsjournal.com/anotherbb/irvingpenntrash.jpg; you can find more on Google Images. FWIW. ne_nau.gif
