Large batch photo upload using HTML5 uploader

Greetings! New to SmugMug.

I'm still in the trial period and consider migrating from Flickr to SmugMug. I have a few thousands photos need to upload and test on the feature of SmugMug, I'm using the HTML5 uploader, drags a batch of 1000 photos and leave it upload overnight. However it stopped after uploading about 100 something photos. I re-upload (skip duplicate) and it upload less then 100 and stuck again.

Is there any upload limitation on the HTML5 uploader? Or if this the browser issue? I tried the latest Google Chrome and Firefox4 on Mac 10.6.7 and both behaves similarly.

    Thanks for the prompt reply! Previously I tried to contact Flickr for an issue and this took weeks to response! I'm surprised!
