Hi, the last two galleries I've created have "AdobeOLS" where the file names of the photos should be. What have I done?

Thanks, Runway

That's the filename of your file - it is getting named that on your end, not ours. How did you post-process, exactly? We just read the filename and display it. For these photos, you can use the bulk captioning tool and change the captions on SmugMug.

Hmm. On my end, the file name of the first photo in that gallery is "Bee Hive 2_6218.jpg" I named the files when I saved them to something that was descriptive so I wouldn't have to go in and change them later. dave

One other curious thing I noticed recently. I have a saved Pre-set "Quick Setting" that won't save anymore in the gallery settings. That's the part that seems odd. Is that symptomatic of something?

HA! I just used your current pop-up loader (drag and drop) and the file name comes through. See the last photo in that gallelry - same one I mentioned earlier. -- Are you guys playing around with an advanced copy of CS6 and forgot to reset something? You can tell me. I can keep a secret.

AND, I just tried CS3 to upload the same file again, and it came through with the ADOBE file name. So there ya go. Maybe it's time to upgrade to CS5? They're emailing notices of a half-off sale.... Dave

We don't control the uploading from Adobe CS3, adobe does. It's also not the fastest or most robust uploading you can do. Just drag your files from bridge into our HTML5 or Simple Uploader in your browser and you'll get the best experience.

Mabye, but man, it was just so easy through Photoshop. Big icons to identify the images, you didn't need anything else open and no second window. Well, it looks like Adobe has abandoned me, even though I got a ton of their stuff. rolleyes1.gif Thanks for looking into it for me. Dave

Trust me - once you start dragging into our HTML5 uploader from Bridge, you'll be thrilled at how much faster the uploading is.

The issue is now fixed on the live site, for any new uploads.
