First time out in a long time. Sun was a little harsh--but a least it was out and there wasn't rain or snow!. Here's some of what I got...colors seem a little flat to me, but I didn't want to play around with them too much.

I like 'em... What lens did you shoot with? What was your focal length?

Ouch. That light IS harsh. I don't know which is worse for me: late afternoons with harsh shadows and glare if you're on the wrong side of the field, or night games under crappy HS lights. The last one strikes me as kinda funny. Don't really know why.

Thanks. I was using a Sigma 50-500. Shots 1, 2, 3 & 7 are all out at about 500mm. 4, 5, & 6 are at about 150 - 200. I was generally about 20-30 yards away from the subject in each shot. I tend to just wait until they get closer to me until shooting.
    Regards

Good Shots in harsh light. I think you need to separate #1 & #2 in your presentation...the stick in # 2 looks like it could be the foot of the girl in #1:D:D:D
