Taken off the end of one of DCA's runways. 30 second exposure....
(the "stars" are where the wingtip strobes flashed while the aircraft moved through the frame)

    that would be the place... nice area to hang out. Not too many places like it since the security nazi's closed most access around airports since 9-11.
    I can land my jet at an airport, walk all over the ramp, but as soon as I leave and return to the perimeter fence with my Nikon, i'm a threat... go figure.
