Love your processing on this one....and the vignetting makes something mundane look interesting! Did anyone look at you twice while you were taking this picture? :)

Yes, Eia. I even overheard one guy telling his girlfriend (I guess) saying "what's he doin' shooting that sprinkler?" headscratch.gif Well, I know that we photographers are sometimes weird, or was it just me? ne_nau.gifrolleyes1.gif Thanks for viewing and leaving a comment, Eia. thumb.gif

    That's a might powerful sprinkler :D

I agree with Eia .. you did a wonderful job on this photo.

As for the weird looks .. I get them all the time. Even my hubby wonders what I find so interesting about the simple things we see every day.

Whenever you see someone on the street looking carefully from different angles at nothing in particular, you know the person is either a photographer or just plain crazy. lol3.gif

I like that both the old bricks and the shiny modern connections are sharing space. Your post on this works very well.

    Nice job Jiro thumb.gif

That makes me feel much much better. I did a weird pose in Vietnam to get a shot and the wife..... made fun of me :cry Of course I took a photo of her "doing the same pose" thumb.gif for payback...

hmmm... might have to dig out some old rusty car shots and join the rusty club too.

On my Vietnam trip in 2005, the wifes cousin was giving us a tour in Hue. I was taking photos of walls and open fields; Huan kept staring and laughing at me. Most Vnese like photos with people. He's getting better tho, he's done more tours with photographers and even tells me when I should take a photo of a rice paddy. So, he's learned from staring at me ;)

We need to educate those that stare. Maybe I'll work on a club t-shirt ;)
