This Hawk showed up on our fence last Sunday. Came twice within an hours time. Starting to think it was hurt and just stopped by to rest. Finally it dropped down into the snow bank behind our fence. Worried me some since it landed both times when our golden was out. Not that it would go after a golden, but our dog is old and can't fight like it use to .. plus our dog didn't even notice it :scratch

Wow, very artistic style of showing only a small of detail and yet enough to capture anyone's attention. Nice work, Mary. I like the effect. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gif
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Glad you liked them. Thank you for the nice comments :D

Wish he had given me his best side when he was on the fence, but he wasn't doing what I was asking him to do rolleyes1.gif

Yea, I like this shot a lot, Mary. Very interesting presentation....the partial peek at this predator really makes the whole thing work.thumb.gif

    Tom

PS I'll be showing a car soon that had to be made just for you. Watch for it. It's red.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

What this bird likes to eat I won't touch rolleyes1.gifWas thinking for a moment or two that my dog was the intended bait. There are some Falcons nesting in town and they've been scooping up tiny dogs.

A red car wings.gif I'll be watching for it.

Happy to hear this shot works. One never knows when the 'whole' bird isn't in full view.

    Hi Eia ...

Thank you for your kind words. It is different :D All the coaxing in the world wasn't going to get him to do what I wanted. Maybe me being out there in my jammies and morning hair scared it some rolleyes1.gif

Thank you ... it was cool the way he'd just stare at me through the fence. Didn't seem bothered by my watching him at all.

Sure.... you posted this just because of the time I said I had a hawk land on my fence and by the time I got my camera it was gone. Or the time I saw 5 hawks on top of a barn on my way to work and I was cameraless.... You need to make a field trip to Indiana and capture all those shots I seem to miss.

Nice shots by the way... ;)

Keep tellin' ya ... have your camera with you all the time rolleyes1.gif

I was lucky tho with this one. He must of been young and not to smart. Otherwise he would of flown away.

Someday I'll be out there and we can look for Hawks thumb.gif

Way to go Mary. Both shots are great, but I love the first. It has a really voyeuristic quality to it... and you were caught looking. mwink.gif
