Shot yesterday while checking on some job sites in West Texas. It was the trees that drew my attention at first but when I noticed all the trucks flying down that small county road I thought rush! :)

Here is a 2nd one trying some of your suggestions :)

I like this very much. Fab. Hits the theme and is a wonderful shot. (tripod ? how slow a shutter?)

    Thanks Keith!

It was shot handheld with a 100mm Macro IS lens. (also leaning on my truck)

    1/20
    ISO 320
    F16

I have a few more shots but they kept coming out a little blurry. And then I realized I had my auto focus still on and it was catching the trucks right before I got the shot and blurring the rest! Set the lens to manual after getting good focus on the scene and the next one hit just right.

I really like. Great sharpness at 20 ms handheld.

Since C&C means that we should try to think of some criticism, I might be interested in seeing some different crops that emphasize the truck more rather than the trees (mostly for the theme). Without a theme, I'd stick with this. But, for the theme, I'm wondering if having the truck/stop sign higher would grab the "rush" theme more.

(Can we calculate how fast the truck is going?)

I agree with Sunflower 100%! I think this is a great entry - exactly on theme and shot perfectly. I'd like to see it though without the large tree on the left. The rest is fine.

So what doe you think No. 1 or No. 2?

    Anything C&C on No.2 ?

    Thanks!!

I think the crop is better. Maybe try a bit more off the top and the right side. The tree tops don't really add anything. Trimming the right a bit would have the truck more moving into the frame instead of about halfway through it. Keep at least some of the tree on the right.

I like the idea, the colors and realize it might be hard to reshoot, however for some reason I'm wanting to see more truck....
