This was my first time taking pictures of a young girl that wasn't a 'model' and I was nervous about how to pose her and make sure she still looked young. She wanted mostly headshots, so sorry for the lack of variety. She's very pretty and in some of the shots looks much older than 12! Let me know what you think!

I bet it was a fun shoot. She looks like she could be easy to get laughing A couple of those shots would really bring it all together!

Question, could the original sized files be sharp and the softness caused by the reduction of file size for posting on the web?

Also, if I get her parents permission, I'd love to show you some shots we did in her cheer outfit! Boy does this little girl have some crazy jumping skills!! :-D
Hosting on other sites can cause undesirable results such as softer looking images or graininess due to compression ratios.
Isn't it possible to still hotlink images from locked down albums at Smug?
I believe it is...

Yes it is possible.

I thought I had done that before to images in PW protected albums.
Yeah... just make sure external links are enabled and you're set.

I know I can do that, but the parents are concerned bc she is so young (very protective Dad) so I didn't want anything that linked ;-)
It's not the size of the image that matters in the case of privacy, it's the fact that the image is available for viewing by anyone.

I am curious, it looks like you tried to get rid of the braces with mixed success.
Can you post a shot with the braces intact?
