Hi all, another short lens review.
I bought a Tokina AT-X400 SD lens from the FM buy and sell forum.
Got it today, I ran out and snapped off 150 pics in the late afternoon.
For the most part, the lens is pretty quick, and sharp. But boy, does it give
a lot of CA or purple fringe.

So I'm going to call it my Forest Gump lens, cause you never know what you're
going to get.

some of the better ones.

These girls are a 1/2 block away from me, so this is cropped quite a bit.
This pic also had some real bad fringing. To bad Shay didn't make his
fringe remover to work in Elements.

That's it for now.
I'm hoping to really give it a run this weekend.
Thanks for looking.
dave.

Thanks for the review Dave. I shot with a Tokina 80-400 and was underwhelmed. I have to say that the posted shots are very nice though.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
