    Very nice and natural looking candid captures.

    I really think that the D700 with a good 50mm lens is a match made in heaven.

    Thank you everyone for your kind feedback. I feel like I'm starting to come into my own a little bit with this camera.

    Most of these were 1/125, f3.5, 1250 ISO. I was messing around and manually exposing, so a few are little different. Some were more like 800-1000 ISO when I wanted to open up my aperture. The ISO capabilities are one my absolute favorite things about the D700. I'm discovering how much fun you can have with natural light indoor shots when you aren't hindered with poor ISO.

    All the overhead lights were off in the living room. There was just the one large picture window creating all the light.

    Darling kiddos! I've have friends who shoot with the D700 and they say it's heavenly!!
