I deliberately separated this guy out from others, and put him in that position in the frame. So you can comment on if that works or not, too. :)

    for me, it's too much dead space with nothing to look at.....sorry

    You have a good, colorful subject in a great pose but I agree with Dave about the dead space. It might work if the water was more interesting but not here. Have you tried a closed crop?

    I'll have a look at that. I have already cropped this, so it might lose too much in a further crop.

    That is a great pose, but a tighter frame would definitely work better if you have the pixels.
