That is not your everyday backyard critter. I really like number 3. Did it get what it wanted?

    Thanks Stephen
he ran up to the side of my house then disappeared around the corner into my stack of firewood, my concentration then went back to the birds, i think he's been around the house quite often as i see holes he's been digging in some of the soil that is exposed through melted snow

Nice captures of this member of the weasel family. You want to be careful of these guys. They are close relatives to the skunk. While they don't spray like a skunk they will release a scent like the skunk if startled.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Very nice capture and love them being in the snow as they stand out more. We have them around here but they move in and out of the rocks along the lake front makes it hard to capture them.

Those are great. Why has he changed color when there is still snow on the ground? Shouldn't he be white still? ne_nau.gif

Mink don't change color, only weasels. and yeah, I know mink are a type of weasel, but you know what I mean.
