    I stick pretty hard to the rule-of-thirds. I'll occasionally break it, but I need a fairly good reason to. If you'll notice, there should be an "eye" on one of the "thirds" cross-marks, or pretty close. I shoot a little loose, then do my final composition via crop in post. That gives me the opportunity to choose the image ratio I may need, then crop that ratio to taste. With the 5DMkII, giving up some pixels is not a problem.

    focus, comps, processing..all great! For my taste the light is a little too even and just a touch harsh (the overall highlights in her hair especially) on my laptop monitor.

    This was from a makeup shoot, so where seeing the same thing thumb.gif
