haha..yup..I gotta hand the camera over to the wife a bit more but this was with the 70-200mm and she probably can't handle that much glass!

I am trying to shooting this lens more because I had heard a tip on dgrin about the "compression" the longer lens give to shot

There is something magical about the long lenses.
I was at a wedding shoot yesterday and nearly everyone was shooting with 70-200's or better. All I had was my 50MM...

I know my wife complains about the D700 with just a 50MM mounted.

    Great shots man!

Absolutely love #2... Love your processing... composition... his expression... the grass... the light... the entire photo.
(That one is the best of the bunch in my opinion.)

#6 is amazing!!! I also love #1, it is nice to have your son in his natural habitat, his room will change so much by the time he is in high school. It is nice to have a photo of how small his is in his room.

You got some adorable kids there, Mr Q! Very nice shots. I really the ones in the tall grass - all that energy, nice locations, and you handled the bright light beautifully. Nice job! thumb.gif

Just beautiful! The only one I'm not digging as much is #3, I think a tighter crop might look better as the background is a bit too distracting, but then .. maybe he's in a bit too tall grass, but HEY, who cares, they're all wonderful moments!
