I think maybe you missed on this one. Though you do have me curious about what's going on.
Title was meant to be neutral (and not to puzzle) -- I did not want to prejudice the viewers' impression.
But I don't think I missed (for me...) in that I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. I was shooting them because of the paint pigments on them as they walked through the upscale shopping mall and did not notice his expression at the time.
BTW, not SOOC due to underexposure (so I boosted the brightness and saturation some), but colors are reasonably accurate for what I recall.
Something dangerous, maybe? It vaguely looks like something from a horror flick, but maybe they're just painting a sign.
Bingo! ...in that I had the distinct impression of "menacing" in his facial expression AND his hand expression. This is contrasted with the other guy who perhaps conveys the opposite.
This looks a lot like the aftermath of a Holi festival.

Until that day, I had no idea of that there was such a thing as a Holi festival (festival of colors). There was a Holi festival on the adjacent Stanford campus and numerous "colored" students were populating the mall.
