Your title has me scratching my head Rainbow.

I think maybe you missed on this one. Though you do have me curious about what's going on.

Something dangerous, maybe? It vaguely looks like something from a horror flick, but maybe they're just painting a sign.

This looks a lot like the aftermath of a Holi festival.

Title was meant to be neutral (and not to puzzle) -- I did not want to prejudice the viewers' impression.

But I don't think I missed (for me...) in that I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. I was shooting them because of the paint pigments on them as they walked through the upscale shopping mall and did not notice his expression at the time.

BTW, not SOOC due to underexposure (so I boosted the brightness and saturation some), but colors are reasonably accurate for what I recall.

Bingo! ...in that I had the distinct impression of "menacing" in his facial expression AND his hand expression. This is contrasted with the other guy who perhaps conveys the opposite.

Such good knowledge! Must be part of your being such a traveler.

Until that day, I had no idea of that there was such a thing as a Holi festival (festival of colors). There was a Holi festival on the adjacent Stanford campus and numerous "colored" students were populating the mall.

I encourage others to click on michswiss' link for info on this.
