Good looking model but your cross lighting is not doing her any favors. For example, the shadow on her face on the first image is a bit harsh. Try moving your model farther from the background (that will allow your rim light to rim light her without casting shadows on her face) and lower the power of your lights. Your kicker/rim light seems a little hot. Without seeing exif data, I'm guessing you were shooting at f/11 or f/16. Try f/5.6 -- that will help soften your shadows a bit and will also blur the background.

John, this is the first series you've put up where I thought you didn't do the model justice. I always look at your posts, 'cause I like your stuff. These (sorry m'amigo) don't rise to what I expect from you. I DO like the dress though! I prolly wouldn't have been able to concentrate on lighting either. mwink.gif

She is a very attractive model. The lighting in these shots has some issues...but still nice to look at.

    Thanks guys.

I actually didn't set up the lighting (although I don't claim I would have done better). I do agree that Agata is better looking than I gave her in this set.

Pete, believe it or not, these were at f5.6. Your suggestion is good bt my execution -- not so much.

Icebear - no need to apologize. I put everything up for C&C. That means y'all have to be free to tell me when I screw up.

To make up for the above, how about I show Agata in a somewhat better lightmwink.gif
