Can I Lock Down an Entire Category?

I would like to lock down an entire category. By lock down, I mean make it private and create a new master password for the whole category.

Can this be done, and if so - how?

    Password each gallery in the category with the same password - and make them all unlisted, too. Boom-done.

    Thanks, Andy. What I actually meant is (sorry if my lingo is not always up to speed), I have a parent gallery within which are many categories and sub-categories - I was wondering if I could lock down the parent gallery?
