Cool. I like how the perspective points in the middle, levels out on the left, and goes faaaar down on the right. Cool idea.

Learning how to see and compose for this camera must be a fun challenge. Cool shot.

This is a cool shot, David. The perspective the camera gives messes with me...I have to get used to it. And Michswiss hit it right on the head, that has to be hard to learn how to compose a shot with that camera. I admire you for trying and, frankly, succeeding in learning how to do it. Thank you for sharing. If I had that camera, most of my shots would end up being more about the camera than the subject in a "hey look what I can do" way. That said, I'm not seeing that vibe here. The split scene composition is awesome and I'm liking the graffiti.

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what you'll be doing with it in a year when you're totally used to it. :-)

I agree, you can get some really cool comps with this wide angle view. One of the things I would try with such an angle is to stand facing a street corner and shoot people coming/going on both sides of the wall. I see you did that already with one of the shots in your gallery, which is awesome.

Thanks, Schmoo. Yah, I posted that one in this forum, as well. I've got more just like that already shot, but they're still in the camera waiting for me to get through the roll! thumb.gif
