Any tips on camera set up for action shots welcome. Most of these were with the sport setting on the camera. I have a pretty good handle on what I need to do with the camera. So I think:scratch I just find that what could have been a great shot is diminished by a less than perfect background.
Anyway, dogs...

Sports:
As a general (and pretty good) rule;
- Shoot tight and crop tighter!
- Shoot with a wide aperture to blur the background.
- Face, ball (or whatever the sport object), action.
Look at most any sports mag shots and you'll see these "rules" used the majority of the time.Hope that helps...
Thanks, I'm really new to this and open to suggestions and criticisms. Hopefully more of the first.
