I took these photos of Great Egrets on the platforms at Bird City--all suggestions for improvement and any coaching greatly appreciated! :help Best, Pam
Great comps, and excellent exposures and focus, Pam. Well done.
Thank you, Joel. I did help the composition along in the first photo. Initially the birds were a little too far apart to be ideal, but Photoshop Elements has a function that eliminates nonessential space in a photo to bring two subjects closer together. First time I have tried it. Best, Pam
Excellent work Pam. Good comps and well exposed. The close-ups give them more "character"

Great work Pam and an EXCELLENT choice of title for these photos! I swear in photo #2 it looks like the Egret in the forefront is listening to the other one. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Jim! I don't know if I have just been looking at dgrin too much lately, or what, but a lot of the birds and animals I see seem to have human characteristics! Best, Pam
Anytime you can get two birds in focus in the same frame....you did well!
Thanks, Ric! I hadn't thought about it like that. I guess it helps that the egrets love the platforms at Bird City, so their colonies are crowded. Since they are nesting and only have so much real estate, the odds improve! Best, Pam
Pam, these are great images, and the exposures are bang on here and very nice captures. Good job.
Dennis, thank you. I'm not 100% yet, but thanks to you all at dgrin wildlife, I'm getting a little better at exposure, and appreciate your saying so! Best, Pam
