Slithering visitor

I noticed this guy slithering across my driveway and found him hunkered down under one of my landscape rocks.

    I agree, I like the rock crevice he was hiding in with dark hole behind him but that stick across his face and the leaf kill the shot. This snake was pretty mellow. I should have tried to remove it. He may have just held his pose for me. :D
