Hello, Is it possible with privacy settings and or smugislands... to have hidden galleries with photos inside that respond to keyword searches...

That way people need to know the keyword to find the photos specifically.

and then once they find the photos they get those photos but not the whole gallery.

PLEASE HELP

No, that is not possible. For privacy reasons, unlisted and password protected galleries are not indexed for search. I figure they do this because it's way too easy for things to get exposed in an undesirable way through random searches.

Is there an alternative to it.. I want to sell people download access to their photos, a sort of automated per photo password. Point of Sale is vital. I need to sell them something that allows them to get their photos digitally on site at the event. Ideally I could have a onetime use credit code that they could use to download from the album later... Selling them the album password won't work because they will share it. Lightroom is handling the live slideshow at the event so I could add keywords to the photos they choose, but that apparently won't work.

    Any ideas?

Use virtual galleries by keyword to put each person's photos in it's own gallery and give it a unique password and sell them that password. A little more setup work, but it shouldn't have any of the issues you're worried about.

Could even upload them all as public, but small sizes only and indexed and then when they purchase, you create the virtual gallery of just their photos with custom password and send the password to them. That way they only get access to good sizes of their own photos.
