Manfrotto 682B

I've picked up a Manfrotto 682B monopod (with the three short legs stored internally) recently and I'm wondering if anyone has noticed that really annoying rattle the legs make in there? I'm experimenting with rubber bands to try and tie the legs together and cusion them some. Now it's a dull clunk ;). The internal clearance is pretty tight around the legs, so velcro didn't work out for me.

Any other thoughts? Don't really want to wander through museums sounding like I've got pots and pans hanging off my back!

Real nice monopod otherwise.

Thanks!

If you read the user reviews (e.g., Amazon's, etc.) you will find that is the number one complaint: the rattle. Beyond that, it is a pretty darn good monopod. Others have found no sure way to conveniently stop the rattle.
