I like using SnagIt to capture my screen and mark it up and I want the fastest, easiest way to send these photos to SmugMug.

Any suggestions?

Is the output a jpg? Just drag the jpg into an uploader of your choice?

    It is a PNG.

I was hoping for something even faster.

I realize I can save the PNG to my local folder, then open that folder up, then open my browser and select the Gallery I want, then hit upload, then drag the PNG to the uploader.

However, SnagIt has one click uploading to many sites such as Flickr, Skype, Live Journal, OneNote, WordPress, etc.

From SnagIt I can Email the file, FTP it, copy and paste it or send it to many programs on my local PC.

Perhaps a copy and paste works with one of the uploaders or can I setup a gallery to FTP to or Email it and specify the gallery in the subject?

Can I revive this thread? I am looking for exactly the same thing... I need a super faster way to simply screen capture straight to a gallery on SmugMug. I currently have to open Firefox or click on it to bring to front, select upload and then nav to the right gallery, drag the saved image from the screen cap utility of choice and then let the upload finish, nav to the gallery and find the image and etc. etc.

As an alternative, is there a special icon / shortcut I can have on my desktop that whatever I drag / drop on top of it would automagically upload to a predefined gallery?

    Thank you!

At SmugMug, we love Skitch. Don't have a Mac? Try Jing. It uploads your screenshot automatically to screencast.com and you instantly and immediately paste the picture (or video) anywhere.
