I found these baby ducks in a retention pond. Why is it that baby ducks appear to be so cute?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Ira, how did you get this shot? A flash in the almost dark? They are awfully cute! Best, Pam

Pam, they were swimming in a retention pond that was surrounded by tall trees blocking the sunlight. There was one small spot where the sunlight was striking the water, and when the ducks swam into that light I snapped the photo.

    Thanks, Harry.

No alligators in that retention pond, but I was told by a home owner next door that originally there were 12 chicks. As I was taking photographs I heard a sound well known by me over my right shoulder. I turned around and saw a Red Shouldered Hawk waiting for a chance to capture its next dinner.
