Alrighty!!! Are you guys ready for this one?? :D Ted / Moogle Pepper sent me the new challenge last night, let's see what you got! :clap

Theme of this challenge: "Abstract || Figure / Ground"
• Images where the empty space forms a figure in between the two pronounced things work.

• The negative space needs to be done in camera.

From there you should be able to upload a pic, but let me know if you have any questions (see top right corner / UPLOAD > TO THIS GALLERY)
When you upload a photo, please name it with YOUR NAME, or your nickname (I need to be able to contact you, if you win, so don't make it too hard, haha). Please do NOT upload full res files as I can't take any responsibilities for it and don't want the photo to end up in the wrong hands. Feel free to put your name on the photo.

Once we announce the winner, you will receive a 1st / 2nd / 3rd place badge :D

The CUT-OFF date is April 30th. Moogle Pepper will then have time to choose the 3 winners and will announce them by May 2nd :barb

    uhhh..I am not going to have any entries for this one. The only thing I can think of is when 2 folks are holding there fingers together for tom ake heart or somethng. Ted..do you have any examples?

    After seeing your examples, it makes way more sense. I just *knew* that you were going pick the "frame through obstruction to make something really cool" theme somehow. :giggle Very Tedlike.

    Nice examples. Love them a lot! (My attempt to butter up the judge is quite obvious, haha!)

    I think Ted is buttering me up...using a pic of me and my family in the example! Go ted.

    I like this theme, but haven't gotten this down yet. It seems like something that is easier to think about when second shooting or in the getting ready photos. Will see what i can find. ne_nau.gif

    Yup liam, he is super cute...and a ham (he loved Ted and still talks about him when we look at the photos). I was about 6 months preggers with Keen then too.

    Ok, I'll bite. I uploaded 2 from a wedding I did a few weeks ago. Someone passed in front of me as I was trying to get the FOB wiping the tear. At first I was going to cull it, but didn't have the heart. Since I managed to catch a portion - I kept it.

    I entered two photos today...hope I'm not too late. I wasn't sure what this theme meant until I'd looked at all the examples.

    Speaking of being a slacker ... I STILL owe you guys the final drawing for the 2010 BEST OF PHOTO .... aghhhhh, gallery will be online in not too long (you guys will pick). Now that I said it, I have to do it, ey?
