Walk to Haymarket

Here are the innards of my walk from yesterday(a total of probably five miles - from Coolidge Corner to Fenway>Public Gardens>Beacon Hill>Haymarket>back through Boston Common and the Gardens, where I hopped the T at Arlington back to CC - and boy, did I need this walk; it's been a long winter of sitting at my computer).
The 5D, with the big, obnoxious 24-70, as previously mentioned, I found not to be great for general street photography. However, once I got in around Fenway Park - opening day, in case you hadn't heard - we beat the Yankees, in case you have not heard that:D - where there were people and cameras galore, no problem. Also, down at Haymarket (Haymarket is Boston's famous, old, open-air market that runs every Friday and Saturday), where there is a party atmosphere and lots of photographers and folks are accustomed to the cameras (well, the vendors are, anyway) - no problem there, either.
For general street photography, I will probably stick to the G12 from now on.
Anyway -
1. Brookline's finest, bike division.

Sorry to be so long-winded, and thanks for looking.
Cheers,

I see your local constables aren't missing any meals.
I like the shot of the poor kid in the dog harness.
Sam
Yup, it's been a long winter for everyone here in NE, Fred would be the first to tell you that.
As for the harness - my mother had one for me, and I sure wish I had had harnesses for my three kids, along with handcuffs some days.
I hope my kids have the good sense to invest in these devices (cleverly disguised as a monkey on the back) for their kids (age 18 mos., 2 mos,. and one due in June).
