Problem w/ Original vs. Square Thumbs :(

I am at my wit's end on what is causing this problem I am having on some of my pages. I have my galleries set to show the thumbs in "square" mode, not original mode, yet some continue to show in original mode.

I have checked and unchecked the "square" button over and over again in my gallery settings, waited days for it to take effect and they still do this? Any clues as to what is going on?

It's not happening to ALL of my galleries...only a few ones that I can never get to change over to square.

Ahhh, you've run into the dreaded issue where "some gallery settings only affect newly uploaded images, not your existing images". This is one of the quirks in Smugmug's UI for some gallery settings. Watermarks are the same way.

If you want to change the existing thumbnails, then you have to go to Tools/Many Photos/More/Adjust Thumbnails, pick Select All, pick square, then press Save.

The way the system is designed - your gallery settings for square thumbs will affect uploaded photos. Existing photos, you'll need to use Tools>Many photos>adjust thumbnails - select the ones you want to change, choose original or square, and process them.
