Common gallery settings for all EventFavorites category and down - how to automate?

Love the events feature, but it looks now that when people get their favorites gallery some default settings get assigned. Not necessarily desired. Is there a way to automate this so that when a new favorites gallery gets added a specific set of settings gets assigned automatically, versus the default one?

    You could add specific CSS to apply to all the favorite galleries but not sure if
    there is a class assigned to favorite galleries. With out seeing one would have no idea.
