I don't know if this is the 'right kind of shot' for the macro section, as it's not a bug nor a insect or anything like that, but... Well I was playing around, so here ya go.
Taken with pop-up flash on my D70, using $5 plastic Flash Diffuser, and +2 Close-Up filter on my Tamron lens in my signature at 1/500 and F/11 ISO-200.

My first "Adventure" into the "world of macro" so... comments welcome. With this new short focus distance of my Tamron lens with this new filter, I'll likely try some more, maybe go visit the Butterfly House here in Dallas later.
Oh and yes this is hand-held.

Siberian Huskies do have pretty eyes, I've never photoed one in this much detail.. though.
