Arrange Galleries - Button not showing up

I need to be able to arrange the order of my galleries but the button to do that is not showing up. I have tweaked a few things in the CSS but even when I deleted all my custom updates (after saving them) the arrange galleries button still didn't show up.

I'm hoping I can get to the page if I know the first part of the URL... can anyone post what that URL is? Hopefully I'll just be able to swap out your domain for mine and so on and access my arrange page for that category... hopefully!

Or, if you can firebug it for me and tell me what the arrange button is called I might be able to bring it back to life.

Heads up, I'm no programmer! :)

Thanks so much, David.

Can't take a look without a link to your site. I would suggest you put it in your dgrin signature so it's always there.

ha, nice. Sorry about that. Well, it's in the screen shot that's attached but it's nofancytalk.com. Thanks for checking it out, really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks again.

Tried to read it in the screenshot, but couldn't quite. Anyway, I don't see any CSS hiding it.

One thing you can look into - this is just a guess. A page like http://nofancytalk.smugmug.com/StaticMotion is a category page. It will only allow you to arrange it if the homepage galleries view is set to allow arrangement. If it's set to an automatic order, then the categories themselves won't show you any controls for arranging. So, I'd suggest you temporarily show the gallery view on your homepage and look at the controls for it and make sure that it's set to arrange which would enable arrangement for the categories.

Genius! I hope this helps other people out. I was stumped and the solution was so simple. That's really helped me out, I was hiding some galleries just because I didn't want them to go first and well, that's just rubbish of me really.

    Cheers again, David.

    John,

Thanks for this. I was wondering about this issue myself and it was so easy to achieve once you know what to do. I didn't even have to make my galleries visible on my home page. Here are the bread crumbs I used from my homepage:

Tools >> Control Panel >> Home Page (tab) >> Galleries (scroll down) >> Click: Sort Galleries by: "position" (not "Most Recent")

    Best,
