i remember it from a trip there some years ago... we stayed in Puerto de Alcudia (not down on the beach with all the heaving tourists... but in a small 7 room hotel owned by a young guy there - very nice )

Might have to head back there sometime soon methinks...

Puerto de Alcudia is on the other side of the island, it is true in summer there are too many people on the beach.
